Whether you want to hit as many sights as possible or take your time, we cater each tour to your preferences and your pace.
Your kilted driver guide Rab will chauffeur you door-to-door in luxurious comfort as he shares the Gaelic language roots of Scotland. And Michelle is our resident archaeologist and travel writer, with insight into the heritage, landscapes and history that you will see on your tour.
A typical mainland day tour lasts approximately 7-8 hours and starts between 9-10am, however, we can customise any tour to fit your schedule. We specialise in Oban port excursions and can plan a day tour to fit around your cruise ship's schedule.
Why book a tour with us rather than hiring a car?
Roads in the Highlands are far flung, narrow, winding and often single track, and you can't always get a WiFI or satellite signal to help you navigate. Driving on the left side of the road can be unnerving at the best of times, and the concentration required can prevent you from enjoying your day to the fullest. We know Scotland like the back of our hands and will help you see all the best sights that are on and off the beaten track. Sit back, relax and let us do all the planning, booking and driving!
Why book a private tour with us instead of a coach tour?
We strive to make sure Imagine Alba tour is just to your liking. Your pace can be as slow or fast as you wish, and we can make as many stops as you want. Our luxury vehicle with panoramic windows allows for superior comfort, and little touches like snacks, waters, whisky make your day extra special. Tick off your bucket list in style and visit hidden gems where the big buses don't go. Linger over lunch, take a forest hike or hunt for the perfect photo opp- whatever you desire, we will try to make it happen.
