This scenic journey into Scotland’s most famous and romantic glen features castles, waterfalls and iconic mountain ranges.
Discover the most famous landscape in Scotland- certainly with the most intriguing geography and history, including spectacular waterfalls and majestic mountains. You'll also see three of the best surviving castles in Scotland, with a chance to explore two of them, plus a kirk that we think is Argyll's answer to Rosslyn Chapel.
This private tour is available for up to five people, and lasts approximately 7-8 hours. We can adapt the tour to any fitness level, or simply enjoy the scenery from your luxury seat. To visit Kilchurn and Dunstaffnage castles, some walking is required.

I'm Michelle, a Scottish Tourist Guides Association Yellow Badge guide, storyteller, journalist and anthropologist based in Argyll. Through Imagine Alba, I offer private Oban walking tours and storytelling experiences designed to help visitors connect with the people, places and stories that make this part of Scotland so special.
Originally from the southern United States, I came to Scotland for love more than a decade ago and never quite left. What began as a new chapter became a home, a career and an endless source of stories to explore.
Before becoming a professional tour guide, my work took me across four continents as a journalist, anthropologist and storyteller. Along the way I interviewed fascinating people, explored different cultures and learned that every place has a story worth telling. Today, I bring that same curiosity and love of human stories to every walking tour in Oban.
As a qualified Scottish Tourist Guides Association Yellow Badge guide, I help visitors discover more than just the famous landmarks. My tours explore the history, folklore, landscape and culture that shaped Oban and Scotland's west coast, bringing together historical research, local knowledge and a good tale or two along the way.
