The Imagine Alba Podcast- A Scottish Wedding
Today on the Imagine Alba Podcast, we celebrate Valentine’s Day with a look at Scottish wedding traditions. Scotland is such a romantic country in which to get married, thanks to a plethora of gorgeous settings, whether it is a castle, a cathedral, a bucolic chapel or against the background of a stunning landscape- not to mention the rich and colourful wedding traditions that are still practised today, from a groom decked out in kilted finery, to the blackening ceremony to a ceilidh that has everyone twirling and stepping into the wee hours!

We can personally recommend Argyll and Bute as the perfect place to get married, thanks to the friendly and helpful council staff and beautiful variety of venues. Find out how to get married in Argyll and Bute at https://www.argyll-bute.gov.uk/marriage/
Another personal recommendation- Weddings by Anna photography. She is a nationally renowned photographer based in Glasgow- but she will travel all over the UK. Her photos are stunning and she is a joy to work with, from her thorough, yet unobtrusive manner at the wedding to her editing, which makes you look your absolute best!
